About Coach J
 Coach J played and coached basketball for most of his life. Growing up in Kansas, it was hard not to be inspired to love the game. After high school, Coach J joined the Marine Corps. While there he began to understand the meaning of commitment, teamwork and hard work.
In 1997, Coach J developed a true love for coaching and instructional basketball after taking a girl's travel team to the national championship title in Florida. Shortly thereafter, Coach J started teaching and coaching for various AAU and basketball training facilities in the area which proved to be very successful. He continually attends basketball camps and clinics annually to stay current with the latest techniques in training players.
Due to his unique style of teaching, he has helped players attain their goals at playing at the next level whether it be recreational, travel, high school, AAU or college. . .the skies the limit!
He focuses on the physical and emotional development of each player, and encourages his players to understand that it is family first, academics second and basketball third. "My belief is I treat every player I coach, no matter what level they are, with the utmost respect."
